Ahh yes. Our first true night out. This was so much fun. It was 100 RMB (~$13) for all inclusive drinking. What a deal. I dont think they anticipated americans coming and taking full advantage of the open bar. Its like letting in 400 lb. obese people into an all you can eat buffet; of course they are going to eat more than their fair share.
The bar had an amazing view of the river side. I was in heaven sitting on the balcony enjoying a carlsberg and taking it all in and how good we have it to be in Shanghai.
"Say hi Katie!"

Our group enjoying the balcony.
Yeah, this marks the beginning of the end for sobriety for most people that night. Tequila Shots!!!

One of the students in the JI program, David, started doing legit tai chi on the dance floor after having a few drinks. It was amazing, and hilarious. I believe he is pushing his chi out at the moment. What a great guy though. He was the most pleasant drunk I have ever come across. All smiles.

Almost forgot. We had 2 separate people puke on the balcony, and possibly a 3rd. Mark of a good night, and showed some american hospitality. Or something like that.
