So all the u of m students who go to the JI institute are assigned a "buddy." Someone who can show them around, help them out with the language barrier, and if you're lucky like me, they become a new friend. This is John. He has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. He not only helps me out whenever I ask him, but he volunteers to do so many things for me, and he has even taken me and his friends out and paid for dinner both times. Amazing dude, and very selfless. Its one of the many differences I have noticed about chinese people and americans. He doesnt think "what will such-and-such an action bring me?" but rather "what will such-and-suck an action do for others." He's super friendly, funny, and speaks terrific english to boot and is always a joy to converse with. He is thin
king about coming to U-of-M in the fall, and I really hope he does. JOHN!!! haha

I've gone slightly picture crazy, taking photos of anything that slightly peaks my interest. This product got me thinking of Mr. Sparkle from the Simpsons

Skates in the marketplace helps you gliiiiiddddeeeeee
Think of your shopping at kroger, and then multiply the number of people by 6. Really crowded. The shopping carts have special wheels so that you can move the cart laterally to make for easy dodging. The chinese think of everything!
